Hey y’all! We have finally hit the Autumn weather and it feels sooooooooo good! I have not seen a whole lot of Autumn’s signature reds, golds and oranges in the leave changes, but I expect it will come soon enough! Right now I am just happy that it is actually cold enough to wear a jacket and not burn up! Woohoo!
Hey there ladies and gents! 🙂
Today I have my Sunday #OOTD. We are back in the south for a conference this week… so out come the warm weather clothes from storage, LOL. I just put them away! *sigh* oh well. I will try to be patient for Autumn! Fuzzy socks and PSL’s will arrive yet!
Hello there! I hope you’re having a good day!
One thing I love: colored jeans. They are unique and original and two pair are never the same! You can find them in almost any shade too! Maroon, gold, olive, teal, anything. The special pair I have for you today are… *drumroll*
Guys don’t you love it when your family buys you a shirt that defines a large part of you? That is literally what just happened! My aunt saw this shirt on social media and thought of me. She sent a picture to my mom and it came in the mail that week. She surprised me, and I am sooooo happy! Check it out!
While on my adventures with the cousins, (see “New Adventures Await” for more details) I had the fantastic opportunity to lead offertory worship at their church on Sunday! It was not a big deal, only one song, but still exciting enough to make a small fuss over with practice and nervous butterflies and such. 🙂 Now this church has two services. The first is a bit more dressy in attire and the second is very chill. The night before we – my two relatives/fellow musicians and I – had picked out clothes together that would not clash or be identically dressed on stage. Only to wake up the next morning and realize that I, the singer, was dressed too casually for the formal service! At first I thought I would have to change my entire wardrobe, but then Continue reading “Sunday Outfit Save!”
Today I thought I would try a little something new for the Monday’s modesty and style post. While brainstorming I searched through my previous ideas and scrolled through social media looking for something to spark a new idea. Then a metaphorical rock hit me in the back of the head. Just because you cannot find inspiration does not mean it cannot be made for others! I realized that other girls are having the same problems that I am… some days I just cannot get any inspiration for a unique and modest outfit! Thus, I have found a problem and intend to resolve if not assist in curing it in this post!
I was thinking, what is a better than an evening shopping trip? Almost nothing! I absolutely love to go shopping, so I leaped at the opportunity to go with two of my favorite people – my parents – to the University Park Mall! This mall contains 143 stores including the Apple Store, Starbucks, American Eagle Outfitters, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Bath and Body Works, Chick-fil-a and more! (There is also an Auntie Anne’s Pretzel Stand. YUM!) The U.P. Mall is in Miskawaka, Indiana which is a bit of a drive from where I live. Thus, I do not get to go there as often as I like. However! This was a special trip just so that I could use a $45 gift card at one of my favorite stores in the world, Francesca’s! Yippee! Continue reading “Francesca’s Shopping Trip!”
